Bar Italia

The Bar Italia at 24 Frith Street has been operating on the same site since 1945. A centre of the Italian community, this highly popular café boasts, behind the counter, a prominently displayed poster of Rocky Marciano and a pair of his boxing gloves donated by his wife to the proprietors: the Polledri family. It was recreated in the film studio for Julian Temple’s 1986 film of Absolute Beginners.
